Wapaia means "on the way" in the Miskito language. It refers to the work of the producer, a former teacher who has reconverted into production and is still in apprenticeship. This coffee is a varietal blend, grown at 1200 - 1700 meters altitude. It is harvested by hand, prepared washed and dried on patios.
This coffee stands out for its complex aromatic profile, revealing rich notes of caramel and dark chocolate, balanced by floral touches. Its natural sweetness offers a nice and refined cup. The coffee’s body is generous, giving a velvety sensation in the mouth, while its long and pleasant finish leaves an impression of sweetness that invites you to savour every sip.
