Built to replace its former chocolate factory in Lanmeur, which had become too small, the new facility, which opened in autumn 2021, is capable of increasing production by a factor of 3.

The chocolate factory is accessible via the Morlaix Linéotim bus network.

If you’re feeling brave, you can also get to the chocolate factory by bike! A shelter is at your disposal.

We’ll let you know about any special schedules for the holiday season.

Tuesday, January 7, 2025: we close our doors to take inventory of our Morlaix stores.

Summer hours

We open from 2pm to 7pm on Mondays (from Monday July 7 to Monday August 25).

For those registered for the 2pm workshops on Mondays, please arrive at 1:45pm.

From Tuesday to Saturday, the storesare open from 9.30am to 7pm, from July 8 to August 30.

They are closed on July 14 and August 15.

OUR CHOCOLATE

Our cocoa masses are all organic. They come from the Dominican Republic and Peru, mainly from Trinitario pods. Depending on the harvest, aromas and flavors may vary.

A new production area

Just a few hundred meters from its historic headquarters and roasting store, Grain de Sail will be inaugurating its new chocolate factory in Morlaix in autumn 2021. Built to replace its former chocolate factory in Lanmeur, now too small, this new 2500 m² facility will enable the company to multiply its production capacity by a factor of 3!

Sustainable development being at the heart of Grain de Sail’s values, this new chocolate factory has been designed to be energy-optimized with photovoltaic panels and thermal energy recovery systems to reduce the building’s overall consumption.

In addition to its production workshop and adjoining boutique, the new building will feature a 250 m² curiosity trail where visitors can venture to (re)discover the world of Grain de Sail and learn more about chocolate production, from bean to bar, in an exotic atmosphere and unique setting, all part of a self-guided tour.
